Aloha Nui Loa

Valentine’s Day is a great time to show the ones you love how much you care. The gestures don’t need to be too grand or over the top, it’s the little things that bring a smile to someone’s face. Even the most simple sandwich can be elevated into a sweet surprise at lunch.

I love the bright colors of King’s Hawaiian Rainbow Bread. Rainbow bread is an old Hawaiian bakery tradition, no different in flavor. This soft bread is bright and fun!
King’s Hawaiian Rainbow Bread is only available at the King’s Hawaiian Bakery & Restaurant, so you may use King’s Hawaiian Honey Wheat Round Bread to form the hearts.
1. Cut your King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread into 1-2 inch slices.
2. Cut a few 1-2 inch slices of your Honey Wheat Round Bread.
3. Using a heart cookie cutter, cut heart shapes out of your Honey Wheat Round Bread.
4. Do the same in a slice of Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread.
5. Interchange the Honey Wheat hearts into the Original Hawaiian Sweet bread, and your sandwich is ready to serve with a side of love!
Heart sandwiches are a sweet way to say Aloha Nui Loa – ‘all my love’ on Valentine’s Day!
