Recipe Details

1 (8 ounce) package Cream cheese

1 (14.75 ounce) An red or pink salmon

1/2 cup Mayonnaise

1/2 cup Sour cream

1/4 teaspoon Dill weed

1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

3 tablespoons Capers

Sliced green and red bell peppers for dipping

Cherry tomatoes for dipping

KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread

Step 1
Carve out center core of bread within two inches of bottom and sides, keeping bread intact.
Step 2
Cut reserved bread and other loaf into 1-inch cubes for dipping.
Step 3
Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream and salmon together.
Step 4
Add dill weed, Tabasco, black pepper and 2 tbsp. capers.
Step 5
Spoon into the center of the hollowed bread bowl.
Step 6
Sprinkle 1 tbsp. capers over the top of the dip mixture.
Step 7
Serve with extra bread for dipping, along with sliced red and green bell peppers and cherry tomatoes.
Step 8
For a lighter dish, consider using low-fat cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream.
Loved this salmon dip, great with veggies and toast points and of course KH bread cubes. Easy to make and best if prepared a day ahead.
