Preparation
Step 1
Season steak with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2
Grill over high heat until desired doneness is reached.
Step 3
Slice very thinly against the grain.
Step 4
Place lettuce leaves on each of 4 pieces of grilled bread.
Step 5
Pile thin slices of flank steak on lettuce leaves.
Step 6
Sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles.
Step 7
Drizzle with prepared blue cheese dressing, if desired.
Step 8
Serve open faced.
