Mini Baked Ham Sandwiches

Step 1
Melt butter and mix in mustard, sauce and onion. Step 2
Cut the entire pack of rolls in half, horizontally (keeping all top and bottom halves separately in tact). Step 3
In a 9x13 inch pan, place bottom half of rolls and cover with ham and cheese. Step 4
Cover ham and cheese stacks with top half of rolls. Step 5
Drizzle butter mixture over top of rolls, making sure onion is evenly distributed. Step 6
Refrigerate over night. Step 7
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes and, once finished, separate for serving.

Love this -I actually changed it up a bit to suit my preferences: Turkey in lieu of Ham and american slices not swiss cheese. Without the stronger flavors it's better to cut the mustard (in my opinion a bit) and we reduced the butter too-you can't tell.

These were 'PERFECT' for a Snow Day stuck at home from work, painting the livingroom & hallway. (ya I know I said "a day off work".) right... LOL

I do agree with another post, that said you can cut back the butter. I am going to try one stick for 24 rolls. other than that they were very good.

These are great, especially if you want to serve a bit heartier appetizer. I've made them for trivia night several times. I do find that you can cut back on the butter quite a bit and they still taste rich and good.
