KING'S HAWAIIAN Famous French Toast

Step 1
Slice bread crosswise so that each slice is about 1-inch thick. Cut larger slices into halves or thirds, if desired. Set aside. Step 2
In a shallow mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix occasionally to ensure it's well-blended. Step 3
Quickly dip slices (do not soak) in egg mixture and cook in frying pan until golden brown on both sides. Step 4
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with warm maple syrup.

I have a similar recipe called "Island Stylin' Hawaiian Bread French Toast." The twist is I add crushed Mac nuts to the egg batter so they are coated into the French Toast. Top it off with coconut and use guava syrup!

Wow I made french toast w/Hawaiian sweet sliced bread. I'll never use any other bread. It was so moist, the flavor was so ono.

This is the best french toast I have ever had!!! I've made french toast with a lot of different types of bread, but King's Hawaiian Bread is the best!
