I was looking for slider recipes and came across this one and decided to go with it for the sake of time. Big mistake, I,nor my husband liked it at all. I took it to a brunch and feel so embarrassed. The middle did not get done and was goopy. I cooked it 5min over to be sure and it was getting really brown on the sides and top. The sweet bread overpowered the sausage and egg. People said they liked it but I really feel they were just being nice. Lesson learned not to try a new recipe for a function.
Love it. Put a layer of tater tots or hashbrown squares on top and this is the perfect breakfast.
My hubby makes this the day after every Thanksgiving and Christmas... ALWAYS a big hit!!!
I made this last year for Christmas and it was a hit! Already been requested again this year. Looks like a new tradition! I add a touch of cinnamon too!
Yum boy Yum!!
