I love brie. I’m kind of obsessed with it. In fact, if I’m left alone to my own devices, I can polish off an entire wheel by myself. If there is baked brie at a party, watch out. I will hoard it and probably not share.

The Christmas I was pregnant was a really, really hard one. I had to ignore the brie at every party!

I think baked brie should be a year round event. Why not? Melty, gooey cheese, nuts, sugar, and bread. I don’t think there is anything better. New Year’s, Valentine’s, the Super Bowl, Easter. This Sweet Round Bread Baked Brie is not just a Christmas treat anymore.

If you’re looking for the perfect appetizer (or, if you’re me, lunch), this recipe is for you. It came together in less than 15 minutes, and in under 30 I was inhaling brie and KING’S HAWAIIAN bread. I can guarantee that this recipe will wow everyone who eats it!

The sweetness of the KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread pairs so well with the brie, you’re going to wonder why you haven’t been making your cheese in this bread forever!

Sweet Round Bread Baked Brie

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Unwrap one loaf of KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread. Cut out a circle in the center of the bread that will fit your wheel of brie.
  3. Pull off the top and reserve it for eating with the brie.
  4. Unwrap your wheel of brie. Use a butter knife to scrape off some of the white outer coating. Not all will come off, just scrape off some of the bigger chunks. Place the brie in the bread.
  5. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Pour melted butter over the top. Tent the loaf with foil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  7. Slice the remaining loaf into small slices and serve with the warm brie.
