Aussie Burger

3 lbs ground beef
1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 can Dole Pineapple Rings
¼ Cup Ketchup
¼ Cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Asian chili paste such as Sambal Oelek or Sriracha
2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil, divided
4 Eggs (large)
1 can Del Monte sliced Pickled Beets
4 slices Cheddar (optional)
1 Onion sliced and sautéed (optional)
4 buns KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns


Step 1
In a bowl, combine beef, chili flakes, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Form beef into four 1

Prepare a medium-hot barbecue grill, or heat 1 Tbsp of canola oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat on the stove. Brush pineapple with oil; grill or pan sear, flipping once, until lightly browned. Transfer pineapple to a plate; set aside.

Grill burgers, flipping once, until cooked to desired doneness, about 10 minutes total for medium rare. During the last minute of cooking, top burgers with cheese (optional); let melt. Transfer burgers to a plate.

Combine ketchup, mayonnaise and chili paste in a bowl and set aside.

Assemble your burger: To bottom half of each bun, add lettuce, tomato, pineapple, burger and beets. Top each with an egg; add top half of bun, spread with the chili mayonnaise.
