This sandwich is the ultimate in Cuban-Hawaiian fusion food. Tender beef, shredded and then seared alongside onions until slightly crispy, piled high onto a perfectly soft & sweet King's Hawaiian Sandwich Bun, then layered with spicy cheddar, shoestring potatoes, and 3 unbelievably amazing sauces.

In Hawaii, "Lapule" means Sunday. A day to relax and share a leisurely meal with family and loved ones. This sandwich is my love letter to the best Sunday fried chicken dinner. Juicy fried chicken breast, Sriracha garlic soy aioli, and cilantro slaw; all bundled between King's Hawaiian buns. Cheers!

This sandwich combines the flavors of the Caribbean with pork, picadillo salsa and sweet plantains. Using cinnamon and allspice in the pork rub brings out the flavors found in picadillo. The King's Hawaiian sandwich roll compliments the sweetness of the fried plantains.

This burger consists of my all-time favorite foods. It's simple, quick, low calorie and as juicy, chewy and cheesy as an all meat burger. Prepare in advance, freeze for later or serve either hot or cold. Plus, it's stunning to look at before you sink your teeth into it. Each bite makes me smile.

"Ono" in Hawaiian means good. A "So Ono" sandwich is a very tasty, very good sandwich. My So Ono Grilled Pineapple, Spam & Cheese is the best tasting sandwich in the competition.

Sandwich was inspired by something I heard on the radio,"A Worldwide Pork Shortage" (don't worry, it was overblown). Kalua Pig, bacon and Spam were a must, so it's making it a salty offering. The addition of pineapples & grilled onions on King's Hawaiian Sweet Sandwich Buns for that sweet hit was key!
