Maui Artichoke & Crab Dip

Ingredients

3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese softened

1 cup mayonnaise

1/3 cup dijon mustard

3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 (14 ounce) cans artichoke hearts drained and chopped

1 (12 ounce) cooked crabmeat fresh or frozen imitation may be used

1 (8 ounce) cheddar cheese shredded

Preparation
Step 1
Carefully hollow one loaf, leaving 1 inch on sides and bottom.
Step 2
Cube removed bread and additional loaf.
Step 3
Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, cayenne pepper and garlic powder, until smooth. Fold in artichoke hearts and crab.
Step 4
Warm the mixture in microwave or on stove top. Remove from heat.
Step 5
Mix 4 oz. cheddar cheese into mixture, then pour into hollowed loaf.
Step 6
Garnish with remaining cheddar. Arrange bread cubes around loaf when ready to serve.
Step 7
Serve warm or cold.
