Made these for the family for dinner tonight. As we wanted to eat them the same day we made them they only sat in the refrigerator for about one hour. They still came out great! Will be making them according to directions next time and can't wait!

My husband and I made these for a big football tailgate (about 25 people...) and they were a HUGE hit!! People asked us for the recipe after their first bite!! To make a large batch of these we used 6 packages of 16 rolls each (from Sam's Club- 64 total rolls,) 4 one pound packages of ham, and a big package of both Swiss and Mild Cheddar cheese. We cut the whole package of rolls horizontally and put the bottom half in a disposeable aluminum pan. We put
1 and 1/2 piece of "folded" ham on each roll square and topped with 1/2 slice of cheese folded in half. (We had 3 trays of ham and swiss and 3 trays of ham and cheddar). We drizzled each tray with the butter mixture, covered with lids and refrigerated overnight. Since we had no oven at the tailgate, we heated the sandwiches by placing them on a low heat grill for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese melted. (The bottoms of some of the trays got a little burnt, so watch the heat...) These little sandwiches were the perfect post-game tailgate treat. Try these- you won't be disappointed!
